SG Tool Aid SGT33800 Tester Fuel Inj Cis

This is a straightforward gauge set for assessing Bosch K and KE-Jetronic fuel pressures. Numerous adapters are included to facilitate connections to different vehicles that utilize this fuel distribution system. Unfortunately, the metal used for the connectors and adapters is very brittle, and in attaching one of the fittings to my distributor, it split in two. Ironically, I'd read the warnings of other reviewers about this weakness and was being careful, but nonetheless, the part snapped under what I believed was minimal torque. Matters are made worse by the ambiguous instructions that advise "snuggly" [sic] attaching the connectors using two offsetting wrenches, but to not overtighten them. No actual torque specs are provided, so it's hit or miss--and I missed! I emailed the manufacturer (Tool Aid) 2-days ago seeking a replacement for the damaged hose. So far, no response... I can't in good faith recommend this gauge set given the quality issues and lack of support I've endured.
