The HEL5542-10 is a M10X1 Helicoil. This kit includes the insertion tool, punch and threaded insert needed to install a M10X1 Heli-Coil.

This Helicoil kit consists of a helicoil M10x1 male threaded insert with a phillips drive and hardened steel helicoil thread insert. The m10x1 male threaded insert is to be used for fixing larger internal threaded holes in metals, (like repairing rusted or stripped threads in a damaged cast iron frame) where the hole is not load-bearing. For fixing smaller holes in small to medium sized pieces of metal, try our M5x0.8 helicoil thread inserts - these are also available on our website separately.
