Our socket adapter with friction ball is designed to adapt your air tool to commonly used acorn nuts and bolts. It features 20mm hex, 1/4" square drive, and 5/8" O.D. swivel base interface as well as 3/7"M and M16 threads.

The GREAD5008AB Universal Adapter is designed to fit Pneumatic Air Tool Adapters using an 8mm spline shaft. This listing is for the adapter only and DOES NOT include any air tools.

With the release of the GRE5008AB, this pneumatic adapter fits both 1/2" (12mm) and 5/8" (16mm) air tools. Simple to install, you only need to remove three or four socket retaining screws on your existing tool and replace them with our adapter's screw tips. Our patented Universal Striker replaces the standard 1/2" square drive bit on most types of air tools and can be adjusted to fit any socket or attachment.

The GRE5008AB socket adapter incorporates a friction ball that is designed to pull in friction tight when the socket adapter is used with greased air lines. The air-tight seal can be broken without tools, just press the ball stem and pull out the socket adapter. The GRE5008AB is used with 1.062"OD flexible air hose and each adapter supports an approximate working pressure of 5,000 psi (344 bar) while supplying at least 0.91 cfm (4.8 lpm) flow at 25 PSI(1 bar).

This socket adapter is constructed of steel for strength and durability and has a friction ball that allows manual turning. This adapter fits 3/8" square drive sockets and fastens to the end of the impact driver or drill. It will fit within tight spaces or areas that needs to be reached with little room. It has a lock ring to hold the adapter onto the impact driver or drill.
