Brazing Rods are constructed with bronze wire. Perfect for repairing worn out handles, decorative uses, and other brazing applications. This item has a melting point of 1,600 degrees Celsius (2,900 degrees Fahrenheit) and a hardness of 11. Ideal for use with torch temperatures up to 2,200 degrees Celsius (4,000 degrees Fahrenheit). 4 x 14" rods per pack.

For joining copper, brass, aluminum or magnesium to itself or to steel. For brazing, soldering, silver and gold solder repairs on copper, brass, aluminum or magnesium surfaces; cleaning and sealing of unused weld joints. Bare brazing rod (contains no flux). Made with EN-AW 6082-B3 filler metal. Not for use on steel pipe joint unions.

These Bare Brazing Rods oxidize at the end of contact and not in the core of the brazing. This prevents contamination of brazes that are to be used in annealing applications.
