Sharp edges on metal parts and mechanisms can lead to cuts. CTA Tools' Standard Feeler gauges are thin, flexible strips of metal used to accurately measure gaps and clearance in vehicles. They are ideal for adjusting and setting the clearance between two moving parts. This pack comes with 2 feeler gauges with a range of .020" to .140", which includes four blades in different thicknesses. These feeler gauges can be used for adjusting the following: valves, piston pins, carburetor pads, hand levers (brakes), steering rack and pinion pads, and truck linkage.
The CTA Tools Standard Feeler Gauge features a variety of cuts in imperial sizes from .001" to .020". Also featured is a straight cut for stability-- when fitting gauge blades, two straight blades can be placed with a slight gap in the center. This allows the gauge to remain flat on a work piece for accuracy and safety. All blades are embossed with size for easy identification. Handle is solid brass and polished smooth with resilient plastic tips.
Due to its popularity, the A317 has been discontinued by the manufacturer and will no longer be replenished.
