The ARP Stud is a replacement carburetor stud designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications. A vital part of any carburetor assembly, ARP Studs are made of premium grade materials, manufactured to very strict tolerances, and feature a double secure lock tapered ends for easy installation.

The carburetor stud is installed in the float bowl so that the gas nozzle will attach to the engine. It consists of a long tapered threaded shaft about 1 inch in length. The top of the shaft has a knurled section to prevent the nozzle from backing off, and it also serves to position the nozzle when adjusting the floats. The threads at one end are slightly tapered to allow free shifting of the float to compensate for wear in the mechanism.

The ARP 20004-05 is a single carburetor stud that is well suited for many applications.

ARP Studs are pre-dressed with Zinc Chromate Phosphate (ZCP) coating and heat treated to obtain the hardest surface finish. The coating is electrostatically applied and baked on. It provides for excellent corrosion and wear resistance and gives the stud a bright, attractive finish. These studs feature a long shank and a conical head that will accept a 3/8" diameter bolt up to 1/16" thick.
